What is the best photo inkjet printer with lowest cost ink cartridges?

Posted by Filed Under Featured, Photo Inkjet Printer with 4 Comments

My experience: My first photo/inkjet was a Canon S800 ? Loved it, but when the cartridges needed to be replaced, they were over a piece (6 cartridges). I got a Lexmart–cheap ink, but the quality sucked and I returned it within a few days.

I splurged on a higher end Epson and discovered all the stories about the print heads drying up-making it useless were true.

I’ve used laser printers at work and don’t think they print photos very well at all. What about having ink cartridges refilled? I’ve heard the ink isn’t the same quality.

I don’t want one that strictly prints photos because it will be used for printing several other types of projects, some text documents (very few).

The modern HP inkjet printers are a huge improvement of models just a few years old.

The cost, just a few years ago, of ink over a 3 year period could run over $1000.00.  This is just a crazy cost for ink!

If you have an old printer, I recommend replacing it as you will soom recap your investment of the printer cost by reduced ink costs.

A3 Laser printers are expensive

Posted by Filed Under Photo Inkjet Printer with No Comments

In all aspects, it is known that printers Laser A3 are better than A3 inkjet printers. When it comes to quality, laser printers are best. When it comes to print in color, which produce the black more dark than inkjet printers. To accelerate, they leave behind inkjet printers by a mile. The only one who does not want to buy them is its price. A3 Laser printer is much more expensive than an inkjet A3 printer for reasons which we will discuss below.

Special components / temperate

A laser printer A3 requires more components of accuracy compared to inkjet printers. In the case of printer inkjet, the component of high-precision that is needed is only the print head. Printers Laser of A3, requires the laser, which changes the polarity of drum, drum, a component resistant photo and the heating element, which heats the surface of the paper that the ink of fuses with the role. Many of its components are also mild to be able to tolerate high temperatures, which is necessary in the printing process.

They are fast

This is by far one of the best features of printers Laser A3 which is very expensive. The fastest laser printer, which is currently sold by IBM, the Infoprint can go as high as 350 pages per minute. Even has the duplex printing option which makes the speed to go as high as 700 pages per minute. Technically, you can print only to the same speed as the simple mode. However, because it can print on the side opposite at the same time, makes the speed to twice the speed. 2009 Ink jet printer can only reach up to 150 pages per minute. The printer makes this speed is the RISO ComColor 9050.

More precise

An A3 printer can produce documents that are accurate to 0.1 millimeter. The raison d ‘ être is that electrons are used to transfer granules of the toner cartridge ink to the paper. Electron knows that they are very small, which means that he ensures maximum accuracy with these printers. On the other hand, ink jet printers use wet ink. This gets to its accuracy a bit because it allows the paper absorb ink and part of the ink may go to lateral directions.

They are cheaper

It is somewhat ironic that says here printers Laser A3 are cheaper when the title says that expensive. In reality, they are a bit of both. A3 laser printers are expensive when buying it. However, everything that is cheaper than the requirements of an inkjet printer. Take for example the toner cartridge. Toner cartridges can go as high as a few thousand pages prior to remain without ink cartridges can leave for a few hundred. Bearing in mind that both are more or less at the same price range, it would mean that the cost to print a page using a laser printer is much cheaper.

A3 laser printers are very expensive because of the following reasons mentioned above. Think even does not include, however, the improvements for custom use by different companies.

The difference between ink and Laser Jet

Posted by Filed Under Photo Inkjet Printer with No Comments

When you are in a dilemma what type of printer to buy for your printing equipment needs, first must consider are features and functions between the ink and laser printer inkjet printer. Another factor is the printer will be used for purposes of home or type of business projects, assess what each can do and for what purpose is what this article is about, let’s start.

Technology is advancing at a pace very fast and use the printer “better” quickly is becoming obsolete and seems that unite ever find another comes with improved more and better features. This does not make our easy purchase decisions. It is one thing to always bear in mind before buying is the cost of final result or long-term cost associated with each type of printer term get this a bit more in depth in the following paragraphs and also give you a basic understanding of the differences between the injection of inkjet and laser printer. Let’s start with what you should ask himself before making a decision to purchase:

1.? Will the number of pages per month you print? -You can easily find an inkjet printer right about $100.00 dollars by all the major manufacturers, however do not make these printers for high-volume printing, as 5-10 pages per day will do more for occasional use. At the bottom a laser printer can cost from $300.00 however are made for more demanding type work without many problems, if your printing on pages 50-150 per day goes well with this type of laser printer.

2 Do you need color or monochrome printing? -It will be difficult to find only an ink-jet prints in black and white; These cartridges can soon get quite expensive replacement. On the other hand you can easily find the monochrome laser printers that can print up to 5,000-10,000 pages without the need for more toner.

3 What kind of printing needs? -I know that I thought that this article was going to be a face to the laser printer however this is where is the good old inkjet. When referring to photo quality can not go wrong with the inkjet, it offers exceptional color, especially when are printing photos. Laser printer can do a good job in this however, compared to the ink jet, the quality isn’t as good.

4.? Maintenance? -Remember OK which I told him to always have to cost of long term in mind this is where the rubber hits the road. If it runs through any problem with the printer ink $100.00 that probably only go out and buy a new one. However, a laser printer can in most cases handled or fixed fairly cheap this in my opinion will cost less in the long run, how can ask, if you buy a printer has a learning curve with the new model. You will also need to install new software to run your new printer. Time is money, if you have to pay someone to install everything and empower its staff or yourself on how to use your new inkjet this comes from the bottom of the cost line.

5.? The cost per page? -I’ve played here a little earlier, but worth repeating, almost any way that cut it its cost per page is less with the laser printer. This is because a cartridge of inkjet printer is much less than a laser printer toner cartridge. When we look at the costs in the long term of even a penny or two is quite considerable.

OK friends have given them some basic things to consider when buying a printer and a little comparison between the injection of inkjet and laser printers, all and all that will be better served by a laser printer however if the quality of the photo is the thing (graphic designers and similar) probably be happy paying slightly more for the page due to the quality that will receive.

Ink refills

Posted by Filed Under Photo Inkjet Printer with No Comments

Inkjet printers are printers that dominate the consumer market. Although contrary to popular belief, inkjet printers are not beneficiaries of dot matrix printers. Thermal printers are used for printing specializes in similar industries to the previously served by the array of points. You can purchase a printer of injection of low-cost offering fast and high quality prints. You can even buy them you can print photos with realistic aspect colors at reasonable prices.

A marketing strategy used by manufacturers of inkjet: printers are sold at a very affordable price, but to maintain the quality of the printed documents, you must acquire certain types of ink. These inks are usually very expensive.

I used to not having any alternative to these products. They were stuck to buy these inks at high prices. Today, you can purchase ink refills instead. Ink refills are not manufactured by the same companies that produce the printer or the ink that comes with it. They come at a price very low in comparison with the original inks. Ink refills are often seen in remanufactured or recycled toner ink cartridges. You can buy recharge kits do it yourself or ink cartridges that have already been filled. You can save up to 80% on the price of inks original if you decide to use ink refills.

The problem is that once manufacturers are discovering that it has been used alternative ink on the original that is recommended for your printer, the guarantee of your computer is automatically void.

The use of ink refills, is a very high probability of bleeding of ink, which can ruin the heads of the printer in the printer, making it faulty. Even without these events, manufacturers may still be able to detect if they have used in the team of ink refills. New printers now have features that can detect the authenticity of the ink that is used.

Some consumers are willing to take the risk of using refills of ink because of the substantial savings that can be obtained from such products.
